Ultrasonography – Duplex sonography – mobile ultrasound – Bone density measurement

The department of ultrasonography and radiology at our diagnostic center, IATRIKI EREVNA, was established on the island of Tinos in 2013 in order to provide both the local population as well as visitors to the island, with precise and accurate examinations and results in the field of diagnostic imaging

We have organized and equipped our department with ultrasounds that can cover both the chronic and the acute disease, not only on-site in our department but also at the patient’s residence

M.D Kostas Papaioannou and M.D Panagiotis Stamatakis, both experienced radiologists in the field of sonography, can  perform the following exams:

Ultrasound examination of upper and lower abdomen (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, aorta, UB, kidneys, uterus, ovaries and prostate)

Ultrasound of thyroid and parathyroid glands

Scrotal ultrasoun

Breast Ultrasound

Ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system for chronic diseases and after trauma

All the examinations can be performed to adults and children

Ιntravaginal and  Intrarectal ultrasound

Ultrasound of pregnancy

Colour Duplex sonography including: carotids, aorta, renal arteries, iliac arteries, arteries and veins of the  lower limbs

Since 2016, our department provides bone density measurement for evaluation and diagnosis of osteoporosis
