• For safety reasons, the PCR molecular COVID-19 and rapid antigen tests is strongly advisable to be performed, at your place (hotel or residence) by our medical personnel
• PCR samples are analyzed in a specialized laboratory in Athens and rapid tests inside our laboratory in the island of Tinos.That is why the result of the PCR test are ready the next day and the results of the rapid test ½-1 hour after the test
• Before sampling, you will be asked to fill in a medical form with your data and provide consent for proceeding with the sampling process
• The certification/result is in English, signed and stamped by a  certified Microbiologist approved by the  Greek health  Authorities,
• The certification/result includes your name,  D.O.B.,  passport number,  telephone number, country of origin,  e-mail,  and date of examination.

We recommend that you e-mail us 3-4days prior to your departure from Tinos and we will organize the sampling procedure.

• A PCR test for COVID-19 is a test used to diagnosis people who are currently infected with SARS-CoV-2, which is the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. The PCR test is the “gold standard” test for diagnosing COVID-19 because it’s the most accurate and reliable test.However, PCR still has its caveats. These types of Covid-19 test need to be sent away to a laboratory for analysis, meaning it can take days for people to find out their results.In our case the PCR test is sent to a specialized laboratory in Athens and the results are usually ready the next day after sampling usually around 18.00 h

• LFTs  or Rapid tests  are similar to PCR tests, in that they’re both types of antigen test, designed to pick up active Covid-19 infection rather than antibodies to the disease. With a Covid-19 rapid test , a nasopharyngeal sample is placed on a small absorbent pad, which is then drawn along the pad via a capillary line to a strip coated in antibodies, which bind to SARS-Cov-2 proteins. If these proteins are present, this will show as a coloured line on the test, indicating infection.The results are ready approximately 15-30 min after sampling
